MHS Theatre students attended the 2017 Texas Thespian Festival in Dallas this past week. Students attended workshops, watched shows, and connected with other students from around the state. We had a blast and can’t wait to attend next year!

MHS Theatre received first place at Region on Friday, advancing them to State.   Honors: Best Actor – Andrew Steward All Star Cast – Lourdes Valero Honorable Mention – Jack Russell   The State competition is this Friday, April 14th at the Round Rock ISD PAC. Montgomery will perform second in the first session. Approximate time: 4:50 pm.

Here is our District One Act Play for 2017 results: Montgomery high school received the coveted best crew award for excellence on and off the stage! Andrew Steward received best actor. Montgomery High School Theatre stand outs for their success in the 2016 UIL One Act Play. Malerie Dozier, best actress in the state, Jack Russell, All Star Cast, Lourdes Valero, Honorable mention. The Montgomery high school one act play placed second runner-up in the state of Texas with there play, Anna Karenina.
